TENNIS SUMMER CAMP 2024 INFO

Coach Jezequel and Coach DeFusco are pleased to announce that they will be offering a summer camp over two sessions this summer. The coaches bring over 30 years of coaching experience, and will create a fun, learning environment for your child to build their skills out on the courts. The camp is for Ages 5-17 and is geared for players of ALL skill levels. Campers will be divided based on ability so that camp remains both fun and challenging. (See flyer below)
WHAT TO EXPECT
BEGINNERS- basic tennis skills including: grip types, groundstrokes, volleys, serving, scoring, footwork, sportsmanship
ADVANCED-refresh of any skill deficits and more focus on gameplay and tactics including: match play, constructing points, percentage tennis, doubles positioning including poaching and calling set plays, attacking short balls, different serve types (including slice and kick), analyzing where balls should be going, split step and more.
The following are some of the things you can expect at the camp
Sports Drink/Water Provided for all Campers
Campers should bring a water bottle and a small snack daily
Games that help build the skills being taught
Proper technique on all strokes
Fun, welcoming environment
